Big Recruiting Weekend: 5-star Crouch makes third visit to Clemson

Crouch will be on hand to see Clemson play Duke this weekend

While next week’s rivalry matchup with South Carolina will undoubtedly draw a big crowd, Clemson’s coaching staff is bringing using this week’s game against Duke as its official visit weekend.

Head coach Dabo Swinney and company have always used the week before South Carolina, as its marquee visit weekend because of the Senior Day festivities and the weekend tends to be less hectic. This year is no different.

Clemson will host all of its committed expected enrollees as well as Frank Ladson and Bryton Constantin, who will enroll during the summer. However, the two uncommitted official visitors will headline the list.

5-star Charlotte (NC) Harding athlete Quavaris Crouch will make his third visit to Clemson this season as he wraps up his official visits. Crouch has already visited Florida State, Michigan and Tennessee over the last three weekends and Clemson will get its chance on Saturday.

While anything can happen between now and National Signing Day, Crouch seems to be comfortable at Clemson and has a great relationship with coaching staff. Clemson is also close to home and has everything Crouch is looking for in a school.

Will Putnam – 4-star offensive lineman out of Tampa (FL) Plant – is the other uncommitted prospect taking an official visit. Putnam has visited Florida State and Auburn, but as with Crouch, Clemson will get the last at-bat.

Putnam has been thought to favor the Seminoles, but don’t count out Clemson just yet.

Clemson will also play host to a handful of underclassmen this weekend, including 5-star defensive lineman Myles Murphy, who has already taken in games in Death Valley this season.
