If a miracle happened that I am really not in favor of and these guys got another year of eligibility could they “transfer” or take their name out of the portal and return to Clemson? I have no desire to see Ian play for anyone other than our Tigers.

I don’t think their appeal for another year of eligibility is relevant to where they play


If they get another year of eligibility, they are just eligible another year

It won’t determine the team they play for

At least in the current state of the NIL transfer system.

You may get a player here and there that stays for his entire collegiate tenure but i think most bball players will be more like 1 or 2 year loaners that eventually move on. Especially freshmen. Signing some great freshmen is probably a waste of effort (or just for depth) unless he's a for sure one and done phenom type NBA player. Most will use the freshman year as training in order to spring board somewhere else. Dell Jones was going to be the focal point of our team next season and he jumped to Radford..? I say just dont get too attached to these guys going forward b/c they won't be here for long.
