Being #1 would be fun and all but, being a top 8 seed is all that matters. Probably would need to sweepp and have Texas lose this week to make that happen. A&M wants revenge for Texas derailing them during the World Series Final. They've been playing like their supposed too lately. Get your popcorn ready. 🍿

The difference in teams they put in the 1-seed regional as opposed to the 8-seed is drastic


If you can finish as the number 1,2, or 3 seed, you have an incredibly higher chance of making Omaha


You can avoid SEC teams by being the 1-seed



Obviously, those teams have ripped us apart in the regionals

Going to disagree with you. SEC will get 13 teams. Figure 2 to 3 Big 12 and western teams host. We've seen that reginal placement is haphazard and not really all that formulaic, but try to push location. Best way to avoid them is then only have eastern hosts. Won't happen. Even if Clemson avoids an SEC team in regionals they'll probably play one in Supers. Very high odds to happen in one of two or both.

People have to stop being scared of SEC teams, to be the best you have to beat the best. By your logic they're doomed as soon as they play an SEC team. We've gotten SEC teams in both of these last two years and would most likely get one again regardless of seed.
The game today probably won't say much as both teams won't be using their best pitchers.
