He came from Russia. He can probably appeal for all kinds of crap, and get like 5 more years.

Maybe. He made something like 300k for Clemson. I am sure he could get more next year in college than that, but he could do well in pro basketball as well and want to progress past rookie contracts. He has potential to make it.

What else would you call it besides a rental? Did he come to Clemson to graduate or finish a masters?

It's just reality. I enjoyed watching him play and he appeared to be very likable and a good teammate with some fire. But call it what it was.

Actually his good play in Portsmouth Invitational has him at good chance to get him an invited to Draft Combine.
He and Chase Hunter have a good chance to get drafted.
