Antonio Clay reportedly was going to be on Countdown to Signing Day Wednesday evening to make a decision. Plans have been changed, and Clay will put his decision off for a little longer at least.

"I was supposed to go on the show, but my coach said I couldn't miss practice. We are in the midst of a playoff run, so that is understandable."

After thinking it over, Clay may have not been ready to commit.

"My official visit with Miami went well. I didn't commit or anything. I still need to talk it over with my family some more. Now, I might take my fifth official to FSU. This weekend I am headed down to Auburn for their game against Georgia. That is going to be a war."

Clay is being recruited by Coach David Blackwell and Coach Ron West.

"I haven't talked to them since the Miami game. My uncle said they called last night, but I was out working on a school project. Senior projects are a killer."

Clay shed some light on his relationship with current linebacker Leroy Hill.

"My coach started telling me about Leroy when my recruiting started up. He explained how things went with Leroy and what to expect. So I started following Leroy. He is a great player. On my official visit, he was very helpful in helping me see what my future will look like. He also told me that Clemson was going to continue getting things done and he was right."

Twiggs County will continue their playoff run this week. Clemson remains in the battle with Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, and Florida State. Clay is a high character kid who will be a great addition to any program.
