Clemson defensive end to transfer |
Clemson redshirt freshman defensive end Lasamuel Davis has decided to transfer to another school according to school officials on Thursday afternoon.
Davis redshirted last season and would have provided depth for a talented defensive line this season. As a high school senior, Davis had 120 tackles, 16 sacks, three fumble recoveries and an interception. As a junior, he had 112 tackles, 38 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He committed to the Tigers on 5/31/14 and had offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Florida, Kansas State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee, UCLA, South Carolina and Wake Forest.
