2024-25 (Georgia)

  • Appeared and started 33 games for the Bulldogs in 2024-25.

  • Averaged 6.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per contest. Added 19 blocks and 20 steals.

2023-24

  • Appeared in all 36 games for the Tigers, exclusively off the bench. Averaged 15.5 minutes per game and played over 20 minutes on seven occasions.

  • Averaged 6.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.5 steals per contest.

  • Netted double-figures in 12 games, including a career-high 19 points against Queens (Dec. 22).

    • Played 23:55 and finished 8-for-9 from the floor with four rebounds and two assists.


  • Totaled at least five rebounds in 12 contests, including a career-best 10 against TCU in Toronto (Dec. 9).

  • Played a critical role in the NCAA Tournament for Clemson and aided its second Elite Eight appearance in school history.

    • Scored six points and added five rebounds in 20:31 in a win over New Mexico in the first round. He also added three blocked shots and a steal.

    • Added eight points and five rebounds in a huge performance in the second round victory over Baylor. Finished 4-for-4 from the foul line down the stretch to help seal the victory.

    • In the Sweet 16 against Arizona he scored seven points with one rebound in 11 minutes and was efficient from the floor.

    • Played 15:06 against Alabama in the Elite Eight and added 12 points and two rebounds.


  • Finished second on the team behind PJ Hall with 22 blocks on the season. He also added 17 steals.

  • Finished the season 15-for-24 from the floor in the final six contests, including 10-for-11 at the foul line.

2022-23

  • Appeared in 33 games last season, including one start against NC State (Dec. 30). He averaged 9.4 minutes per contest.

  • Averaged 3.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. He shot 59.7 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three.

  • Scored a career-high 10 points in a win at Virginia Tech (Jan. 4). Hit two huge 3-pointers and finished 4-for-5 from the floor in the victory. The two made threes were a season high.

  • Produced 10 games of 3 or more rebounds, including a career high eight at Boston College (Jan. 31).

    • Of his career high eight boards against the Eagles, he totaled three offensive rebounds – also a career best.

    • He also had three offensive rebounds earlier in the year against Loyola Chicago (Dec. 10).


  • Steady contributor off the Tiger bench all season long, giving great minutes, scoring punches, rebounding and rim protection. He blocked 17 shots last season which was second on the team behind All-ACC center PJ Hall.

  • Finished a stretch of games 13-for-16 from the floor from Dec. 17 to Jan. 11.

    • The gap of games included his 4-for-5 against Virginia Tech and also a 3-for-3 game at Louisville (Jan. 11).

  • His father, Randall Godfrey, is an 11-year NFL veteran who played linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks, San Diego Chargers and the Washington Football Team.

  • Godfrey chose Clemson over Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Utah and Georgia.
