Report: Clemson SS signee agrees to contract with Nationals |

Clemson 2016 signee Carter Kieboom from Marietta, GA has agreed to a contract with the Washington Nationals according to a report by MLB.com's Bill Ladson.
"Extremely excited to joining the @Nationals organization and to be able to play with @KieBOOM22," Kieboom tweeted after being drafted.
Kieboom reportedly took his physical on Monday and watched the team's batting practice and is currently in attendance watching the Nationals game against the Chicago Cubs.
He was selected by the Washington Nationals with the #28th selection in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft. The Nationals have not yet confirmed the signing.
This is a talented prospect that is 6-2, 185 lbs and can play third base, shortstop or pitcher (throws with any hand) and is rated as a 2014 Underclass Honorable Mention according to Perfectgame.org.
Clemson fans should know the name because he is the younger brother of former Clemson catcher Spencer Kieboom, who is currently in the Washington Nationals farm system.
His Perfectgame.org profile: "Both handed pitcher, more natural from the right side, quick right arm from a high three-quarters arm slot, good spin on 11-5 curveball, fastball up to 85. From the left side, he pitched from a three-quarter arm slot with an online delivery and an extended release, less smooth and natural from the left side but was effective from both sides with a fastball up to 80 from the left side."
