Don’t mean to be so negative, but the way this offense is struggling right now they will be lucky to score 25 runs in the entire series. No one on this team is hitting consistently right now & there is no one you can count on to get that clutch hit. I hope I am wrong & the offense comes alive & does it soon.

Yes, you are correct. You shouldn’t need that many runs. But, you have to score more than 4 runs. In college baseball with the inconsistency of the pitching 4 runs is nothing. Plus if the offense does their part & puts up runs it takes some pressure off the pitching staff. I am hoping there is no way NCST’s offense can play that well the rest of the series. They were lights out.
