2010: All-ACC Academic team member...had a 4-4 record, two saves, and a 4.61 ERA in 22 appearances (one start)...in 41.0 innings pitched, he allowed 47 hits and 13 walks with 29 strikeouts...finished 12 games on the mound, tied for 10th-most in the ACC...had a 4-2 record and 2.30 ERA in 27.1 innings pitched over 13 appearances (one start) at home...pitched 9.0 innings before he allowed his first hit and first run of the season...pitched 2.1 perfect innings in relief with one strikeout to earn the win against Wright State on Feb. 27...pitched 4.0 innings in relief, allowing no hits, no runs, and one walk with three strikeouts to earn the win against #15 South Carolina on Mar. 5...pitched 1.2 hitless and scoreless innings in relief with two strikeouts to record his first career save against Virginia Tech on Mar. 19...pitched 1.1 innings in relief with two strikeouts to record the save in the first game of a doubleheader at #1 Virginia on Mar. 27...pitched 2.2 innings in relief, allowing one run and no walks with two strikeouts to earn the win against Boston College on Apr. 4...pitched 2.0 innings in a starting role, allowing three hits, no runs, and no walks with two strikeouts to earn the win against South Carolina-Upstate on Apr. 21...pitched 2.2 innings in relief to close out the game, allowing two hits and one run against #7 Florida State on May 21...pitched a hitless and scoreless ninth inning against #16 Alabama in the Clemson Super Regional on June 13.

2009: Had a 1-0 record and 4.58 ERA in seven appearances (two starts)...in 17.2 innings pitched, he allowed just one walk with 16 strikeouts...Clemson had a 2-0 record in his two starts...in his first career outing, he pitched a scoreless inning in relief with one strikeout against Michigan State on Mar. 10...in his first career start, he pitched 4.0 innings, allowing five hits, two runs, and no walks with three strikeouts against Western Carolina on Apr. 15...pitched 5.0 innings in a starting role, allowing five hits, one run, and one walk with six strikeouts to earn his first career win against Furman at Greenville, SC (Fluor Field) on May 11...pitched a perfect inning in relief with two strikeouts against Tennessee Tech in the Clemson Regional on May 31...played for Florence in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he was 5-3 with a 2.57 ERA in 56.0 innings pitched over 10 appearances (eight starts); he had two complete games and allowed 46 hits and seven walks with 48 strikeouts.

Before Clemson: All-state and all-region performer at Spartanburg High School...#6 prospect in South Carolina by Impact Baseball...#2 righthander prospect in South Carolina by Diamond Prospect...had a 1.43 ERA, two saves, 68 strikeouts, and allowed 13 walks in 44.0 innings pitched (14 appearances) as a junior...lettered three times in baseball and once in swimming at Spartanburg High, where he was coached by Tom Myers.
