No. 2/4 Clemson hosts Boston College for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday (ACC Network).
The game features the return of former Clemson defensive end Richard Yeargin, the graduate defender listed as a co-starter for the contest. Of note on the Clemson side, the rotation at both placekicker, with Steven Sawicki or BT Potter, and punt returner, with Derion Kendrick or Amari Rodgers, is listed this week. Potter rebounded from a chip-shot miss and benching versus Florida State to hit one try last Saturday, a 51-yarder. Sawicki missed a 44-yard attempt and was replaced by Potter on extra points during the game. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said the competition was still on there postgame. Rodgers had two returns for 19 yards versus Louisville, while Kendrick was in the negative yards after a muffed return that went into the end zone for a touchback.
