How bad has this team been on offense ?

I know I am beating a dead horse here, but just one last stat. Clemson was 0 for 8 with runners in scoring position with 5 strikeouts in those 8 at bats. It doesn’t get much worse than that. I would say that some people in this lineup need to sit, but who in the he$$ are you going to put in lineup that’s going to be any better. The coach really has no good options right now. It looks like we will have to live with want we got.

I think we got one guy hitting over .300 for the season. Maybe 2.

2 but you're close,as Jarren Purify(.308) and Cam Cannarella(.305) are the only 2 based on having played every game this season... https://data.clemsontigers.com/Stats/Baseball/2025/teamcume.htm

yeah the prospects are sad for sure. No way this is a top 10-15 team with the hitting and pitching deficits we have. Looking to be a very short postseason unfortunately

Not necessarily changing the lineup is the problem but it’s the batting order that is key… send purify back down to the 9 hole and you will be surprised what our offense will do.. nobody wants the right field spot either… hopefully bissetta will get another chance tomorrow and get hot

Obviously you haven’t been watching the NCST series! Does that look like the #2 team in the country to you. And they won’t be #2 next week. They are headed into the toughest part of their entire season & so far it’s not been good. Nothing wrong with being positive but some of you are simply in denial & refuse to acknowledge the issues either this team.
