40+ wins. They might lose the series next week to FSU but should win the remaining series and finish top 4 in the ACC. If you’re happy with this, congrats. This team could also lose game 2 in a hosted regional in DKS the way they are playing. This would be an utter collapse of a season. No one wants this. They need to figure things out now!!!! This team had the talent to go to Omaha but if they don’t perform it ain’t happening.

Been so long since we won a super that it’s hard to believe we were an elite team at one time. Maybe we win a regional this year but would be shocked if we made Omaha. Just too many holes.

We will almost certainly be a top 8 seed.
But you’re right…it’s not a done deal yet.
Also- you can host a Super without being a top 8. Just takes a little luck.

No. I don’t believe that Clemson could beat any team 2 out of 3 games at DKS. That was proven last year when we let a team like Florida who wasn’t a national seed come into DKS and eliminate us. Before that, you can research years of other teams that came in and eliminated Clemson from regional play. In baseball the hottest team usually wins. Clemson isn’t playing “hot” right now. I point all of this out, because I, like many Clemson fans, desperately would love to see the Tigers perform at the highest level. We are tired of the let down.

Very illogical post that hangs on the hopes that the team will perform better in the future (how long of a term are you hoping to wait), but refuses to account for present problems. Hope you’re right, but I’ve watched Clemson fall short for 15 years in a row. (2010 last Omaha season). We all want them to do it; but they aren’t playing up to par. Very troll like of you not to see that.

That’s funny man. Have you watched baseball for awhile? This is how the seasons go. Within the course of a season you’ll see some ups and downs and you will lose some series. You’re wildly overreacting.

this team has over achieved with a sub-300 hitting and way below average starting pitching. It is showing against a team that is hitting very well and enough pitching to keep our strikeout kings at bay.
