McElrathbey back in Atlanta, still has eligibility left

Fast forward to the present and those two have grown considerably and so has the family. "Ray Ray" as friends call him had his scholarship taken away at Clemson after suffering a knee injury. He was a graduate assistant at Howard Univeristy, then played a year at Mars Hill College in North Carolina.

Now, he's back home in Atlanta, as is the now 16-year-old Fahmarr. He's a junior on the Carver football roster. They also have 18-year-old sister Brittany living with them, and she is pregnant.

"I pray a lot" said Ray Ray. "We'll get through it. We'll figure it out."

He's got one year of eligibility left, and hopes to play for Clark Atlanta this fall. His extended family of brothers and sisters will help as much as they can, but much of the responsibility will fall on his shoulders.
