And Brad produced 5 more sub par to mediocre seasons, was mentioned as a "just outside" tournament team in the 5th year which was good enough to get him another 10 year extension.

Since when has going to an Elite 8 and then following that with the most wins in school history, and most ACC wins which tied for 2nd place one game from 1st place and another NCAAT mediocre?
Also would have gone farther if Dillon Hunter was not lost to injury in the ACCT, and Shieff got hurt as well where he didn't practice all week before the NCAAT.

Most football heavy programs are going to at least get 15 percent to basketball, the programs that emphasize basketball like blue bloods are going to get 20 percent.
Clemson basketball is just getting 11 percent. It is like $2 million each year, compared to the $2.7M for 15 percent, and $3.2M for the 20 percent crowd.

Don't you think Clemson needs to worry about how to make that up in other type revenue, before they want another HC? Who is going to want the job getting just 11 percent now? Please see link:

Now when Coach DS lost to Louisville last year, there were a lot of grumbling. Was it because football doesn't play as many games as basketball? Therefore the losses are under the "microscope" more(?)

One thing is for certain, he won the ACC AND went to the tournament. Which is not 64 teams.
