What was the difference in the estimated exit fees before and after the lawsuit? I know that after 3-5 years we would be able to get out for I believe it said around 70 Mil. What was that amount before the lawsuit?

Exit fee is important but what is really the big win is that we keep our media rights if we leave. I think best shot is FOX trying to break into southern football market. Will SEC and ESPN call their bluff ?

The exit fee was known, but the value of the media rights wasn’t quantified definitively. There really wasn’t a mechanism in the GoR to say if you want to keep your media rights then pay the conference X. However, the new deal says you leave with your media rights for the new exit fee schedule. We are left to speculate how many hundreds of millions it’s been reduced.

I remember now that FSU estimated what it may cost under the current contract and came up with a number that I believe approached 400-500M. 75M works just fine!

This is the number I posted several months ago and many said I was wrong. Also, I posted the number FSU has had to invest was around $5mil.
When I posted that Clemson was at $3mil several said BS and it wasn't even $1mil yet.
Ok, Im off my soap box but I knew my numbers were fairly accurate based on some info I had.

I found it humorous two years ago when most of the "experts" in the national media were talking about how inept the leadership at FSU and Clemson were and how they should be fired for bringing a frivilous lawsuit against the NCAA that had zero chance of doing anything but embarassing themselves and their universities.
