From Clarion Ledger:
Robert Nkemdiche
Alabama may still get an official visit from Nkemdiche, but the Crimson Tide, LSU and Georgia have fallen back in recent months. While each certainly would love to have the No. 1 prospect nationally, the depth of talent is enough (and the demand for the available scholarships so great) to keep the schools from going too far. Clemson and Ole Miss, two schools unaccustomed to recruiting at this level, have been willing to make that extra effort. Ole Miss is coming off a 2-10 season and would likely not be in the picture at all if former coach Houston Nutt had not given Denzel Nkemdiche a scholarship in May 2011.

View Full Profile has visited campus three times in recent months, as recently as last weekend. Ole Miss can recruit to the power of family (Nkemdiche's parents, reportedly, want their sons to play together), and have the extra scholarships for the Grayson Five. But with Nkemdiche's friends either already at Clemson or making plans to sign with the Tigers in February, it's the pull of family vs. "family."
