4-star 2019 defensive lineman Jaquaze Sorrells from Largo, FL (Largo HS) will visit Clemson for the Florida State game on Nov. 11 according to his Twitter account.

Other visits he has planned include Florida State on Oct. 21, Alabama on Nov. 4, and Michigan on Nov. 25.

Sorrell is a Florida commitment as he committed back on June 10, 2016 when the Gators offered him his first football scholarship. Since then, he has collected national offers including Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina State, Oregon, Syracuse, Tennessee, USF, and Virginia Tech.

TigerNet spoke with Sorrells back in June and he has Clemson in his lead group.

"Clemson is always going to be in my top group," Sorrells said. "Long before Florida was my dream school and dreams of playing in The Swamp, Clemson is a school that over time I gradually became close to,” he said. “I would love to get close with Clemson and their coaching staff. They already told me how they look at me on their defense, so their vision for me right now is great."

Sorrells is a very versatile player on the defensive line.

"Basically, Coach Venables told me that him and the d-line coach Todd Bates see me in the three-technique or on the outside,” he said. "Either one that I feel comfortable at - outside or in the three-technique - they feel like I could play both and I’m very good at playing both."

Sorrells is looking for a school with a good environment and academics.

"The environment and the atmosphere that the school brings," he said. "The community. Academics,” Sorrells said. “I really want to go to a school that after football, my academics and my degree will take care of me even if football doesn’t pan out well for me. The academics, the environment, the love and the family hospitality that I’ll get from the university and the people around it."
