He was the head coach at Grayson High School. He put Dabo on to Ryan Carter ....Wayne Gallman as well as Nkemdiche...before Nkemdiche's mama put a wedge in that recruitment.

Conn is a decent recruiter but better than Mike Reed ......that goes for coaching too.

No, he’s not better than Reed. At recruiting or coaching.
He’s good at babysitting the Swinney kids.

Now I have heard it all. Conn better than Reed at recruiting and coaching. The only Safeties drafted since Conn coached, Muse and Wallace, were both Reed's recruits and we won't talk about Reed's record on draft picks. Looks take a look this season. Reed lost a 1st round pick (Wiggins) and turned around and developed a freshman all American (Hampton). Meanwhile Conn's biggest accomplishment is (in my Gomer Pyle voice)......" Well I'm Dabo's best friend. "
