It's great to get a Win, but it's NOT enough to keep Brownell. As a Championship minded Tiger, Brownell simply is Not that Coach!

I can understand some of the frustration people have with hoops, and I admittedly haven’t been watching for as long as many others on the forum. However, I’ve seen enough over the past three seasons to know that Coach Brownell coaches his teams “up” and that his players develop. And even in this frustrating season, it’s exciting to look forward. We have two sophomores — PJ Hall and Chase Hunter — who are budding superstars, and a pair of freshman bigs with tons of potential. There are some nice perimeter shooters coming back and the incoming class is highly regarded. It may take another portal kid or two — particularly a decent-sized wing player — to cement it, but I do think the program is on the verge of a breakthrough. Attended today’s game. Terrific effort at both ends of the court and satisfying win considering we were without PJ and Tyson.

So sick of the constant negativity even when you see this team fight and have success!
Personally I’m very excited about what we will have next year!
I predict a top 6 ACC team next season with the strong core of returning young players already mentioned!!

We should all celebrate a victory, especially two in a row with two top players on the bench. This team could have “thrown in the towel” but instead are competing as hard as ever. The players are rallying, and the coach is coaching. What’s really tiring is posts like yours, like a little cloud casting a shadow irrespective of the sunshine. I like Brownell. He is a class act, and his players reflect his standards. Go Tigers!

The Tigers can be really good next year with Hunter, Hall, Middlebrooks, Schflein, Dawes and probab;y Tyson. Throw in the 3 incomong freshmen . Maybe a transfer . Wow !

As an ex HS BB coach, I don't consider myself a hater at all. I'm a realist and I know something about what I speak. A win does not change anything, in as much as a loss doesn't either. See the big picture, don't be some emotional and small minded.

Congratulations young men, this was a great win to add to the last one when many thought you guys were done for the year with the injuries.
They just keep getting better and better everyday in Every way! If we get both our guys back from injury in time for the ACC tournament, just maybe we could win it all this season!

It would be nice present to Brad for them to end with some wins, might help him land another job too.
