The LSU, UNC and SMU games are critical and are way before November. Since we have had big first games, those games set the stage for us to be looked at as a serious contender or a team that cannot lose again. Playing a team like LSU sets up a huge home game, terrible heat and an unbelievable atmosphere. Bring em on.

LSU early will be hard but I dont see a lose on the schedule

I can’t see us losing in any of those games.
I know injuries and other factors could cause a loss but I’m going with another undefeated season.
It looks like a great season with Zero L’s.
If you need a loss because you believe in losing go ahead and take one but not I.

FSU then Louisville 6 days later on the road is tough. They play Cal at home the prior week so we’ll definitely be more banged up than they will be. That said, stop the edge run this year and no problem…

Before DJU, November was our month. Losses in November were rare. It was hard to put the run defense in perspective until I heard that it was the worst we had been against the run since 1975, the year Clemson was picked to go 10-1 and went 2-9. If we straighten things out regarding run defense, I think we will get back to a "November to remember."

Man, '75 was a devastating game watching the Tigers try to keep up with stinking Jeff Grantz and usuc! It was brutal! I believe the chickens scored every time they had the ball, but luckily one score was called back for a penalty!
