There are many flaws in the Clemson student football ticketing system. As a rising junior who has tried to attend every game, I have only been able to secure 3 student tickets, 2 of which were in the upper deck on the north stands. Navigating this system on Ticketmaster is very frustrating. A student season ticket costs $360 for the season, whereas at most other schools, the cost is no more than $100 for the season or even free.
Today, I received an email about it being the last day to request season tickets. I opened it during class and logged in to Ticketmaster, but I was only given a 5-minute window to complete my order. Unfortunately, I was not able to fulfill my order in time. Many people wonder why students don't attend games, and it's because the ticketing system is so complicated to navigate..
Many people wonder why students don't fill up the student section. This is a big reason. Im going to have to center the single-game lottery again, but I'm sure I'll only get tickets for FAU and Charleston Southern. Great work IPTAY!

Also send a copy to the little fire engine. Since you aren’t getting tickets and can’t go to the dangerous hill where kids have been sliding on cardboard for years it sounds the administration doesn’t give fluck about the students. Prob not enough money

I know someone who is currently a student at UGA and he said student tickets were only $70 for the whole season in the lower deck.

There should be a point system. Scan your student ID for every non-football event you attend. Tennis, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics...everything.
Scan again on the way out. If you stay for the whole game/match/event you get the most points. Leave early, not as many points.
Students with the most points for attendance to non-football events hold priority on football tickets.
Random checks to ensure an upperclassman frat boy isn't using a freshman pledge to get points.

They already have that, but it has nothing to do with football. The all-in rewards app gives you prizes like a Brad Brownell bobble head or a 2021 soccer national championship coke bottle.

Just walk around to tailgates, ours always has about 5-15 ( depending on the game) extra tickets in the lower area around the 50 (right below the broadcasters). I’m sure most others are the same and would gladly give out any extras to a student supporting the team.

Why would you want until the last day to try a secure tickets?? Should have been online the first day tickets were available. Better chance of getting what you want.

I’m a current student as well. Applications for student tickets actually just opened today. I’m not sure if you are a member of the IPTAY collegiate club, but if you’re not, I’d highly recommend it! I’ve gotten lower deck season tickets the last two seasons (Sophomore and Junior Year)! You’ve still got plenty of time to apply for tickets and will easily get them based off your standing!!!

You apparently don’t understand that the opening of student season ticket requests doesn’t mean that it’s closed. I suggest you try again.

My daughter is also a junior THIS year, senior next year. she averages gets about 3 games a yr.
My son is a freshman and got 2 last year. I know the pain and i agree the lottery system is bull.
BUT.....
No 1 ever complained about the UGA, ND, SCar, FSU games being half empty full. The reason the students dont fill out the student sections is because they don't go to the games that are boring . if they do.. they leave in the 2nd qrt. This has nothing to do with the BS lottery Clemson has.
My kids have been lucky and found tickets to every single game through their friends not wanting to use the tickets they won.
