Went there last year for the first time and their fans were very polite to our group. No issues whatsoever. Now, I cant say I care for their coach and some of their players antics.

dwelling fans? NCST in NC, U5C in SC, UGA in Ga. And the only time I've ever had bottles thrown at me from the stands, Maryland.

I will NEVER go back to Carter Findley Field again. Bad experience with fans.

I lived in NOVA and went to Maryland for the Clemson games several years back with my 11 year old daughter and the fans were throwing batteries and alcohol all over fans it was very disrespectful. Now the UM has gone on to crappier things NCst now has replaced them

I agree about their coach. Their fans are a mixed bag. I have met a huge amount if very good, very nice, N.C. State fans. I have also met that very vocal, very loud, very trashy minority of their fans. Unfortunately, it seems that the worst of the bunch seem to be the ones that travel.

for having the absolute worst fans in the conference.
When Maryland departed, NC State assumed sole possession of the top spot and there's really not even a close second.
The ONLY fans I have ever encountered who are worse than NC State fans, are Georgia fans.

is the premier university in South Carolina..
nc state is the 5th or 6th backup in North Carolina.
and I will tell you this. .
in the 27 years I've been attending Clemson sporting events , I have never, ever, eva...heard 1 Clemson fan butcher the National Anthem . the woo hoo is ghey but it isn't disrespectful.

The worst fans I have ever encountered are definitely Virginia fans. They are all so sure that they are more intelligent and more "refined" than everyone else that they come across as complete a$$hole$.

I support State and I am friends with a lot of State alums. Best public school in the triangle.
Trash: Louisville
Worse than trash is UNCheat. When state cheats, at least they have enough honor to do their time. University of No Class is the dumpster fire of refuse of the conference.

They make me start liking some of these new comers to the ACC like Florida State and Syracuse, Boston College even Miami. At first I thought why is the ACC going in this direction? Still not sure about Louisville either. Another red team. Graduated in 88'
