Is tied for the Clemson record for most saves in a season and we still got a long way to go

Depending on how far we go in the postseason, if he stays healthy he's going to absolutely shatter the record.

He's got 15 and might get to like 20 before all is said and done. If he does that he'd be sniffing around the all-time NCAA single season saves record (23) if he did that.

I hope he does make 24. Because if he does, we will have won a lot of critical games. Good news is he only threw 12 pitches last night. He definitely deserves it given the work he did to change his slots. The man's gonna make some money. He might even go before Cam... because he's faced some big time hitters. Hopefully braves. What a combo, Spencer and malstadt.

Then they can fund our nil.

Cam's shoulder has given him quite the set back; so it seems.

Mahlstedt will be drafted but he's not going that early. He throws from a weird slot and has a good sweeping slider that will have him playing baseball for a while, but he only gets up to 91-92 and he's 22 years old. Those two facts will push him down draft boards. He's not a first round pick by any stretch, whereas Cam is still going to be in the discussion for the first round or two.

Any chance cam stays another year to get his shoulder stronger and to get more nil money?
(No idea what he’s making this year)

I really highly doubt it. Unless his shoulder is just absolute junk, but I don't think it is. You get drafted in baseball off measureables and traits, not really the stats you put up in college. The stats matter a bit, but not nearly as much as it matters in other sports.

I saw two different mock drafts that were done in the last 2 weeks that had Cam sliding but still going in the 1st round, whereas before the season he was in the discussion to be like a top 5 pick, so there's that...

The thing is, what Cam does really well (hit for average, run, and play elite outfield defense) isn't going to drastically be improved upon by staying in school another year. The shoulder injury gets brought up a lot, but Cam's arm was graded as a 40 by scouts before any shoulder problems (below average on 20-80 scale.) He's got above average MLB grades for every other tool except power, so teams are going to evaluate the shoulder, make sure it's healing ok, and then move right past that point because his ceiling is that of like a 4.5 tool player.

Nick Glaser had the record for years.

I remember the time I pitched a no-hitter in High School. Won 18 to 8! I struck out 18 and walked 9! Coach came out in the 4th inning and told me if he saw anything that had a bend in it I wouldn't ever see the mound again except from the batters box! I went straight fastballs for the rest of the game, all the while cursing thinking I could get the next guy with my curve, slider or changeup! But there I was chunking the ol' #1 at every hitter!
