Here's how to watch ESPN360 on any computer you want

Sep 24, 2009, 2:55 PM

Not sure if something has been posted about this.

First you need a MYESPN account...it's free. Next, you need to use a laptop or wifi phone to connect to a network that DOES subscribe to ESPN360. Once you're connected, go to the website & you'll have the option to sync your account to that ISP. After the Sync, you can watch ESPN360 on any computer that you want using your MYESPN login.

That's it. I live in Myrtle Beach & have Time Warner Cable. I just went down the street, connected to someone's HTC account w/ my phone, synced up & now I get to watch the Tigers kick TCU around in the comfort of my own home.....through Time Warners connection.

This screenshot is from my computer @ home connected w/ TWC

Let's be honest, this is a game you gotta go to. But if you cannot go, you have a few options:

1) Find a bar that is playing it. The quality is better and it is always good to support your local establishments. (The quality should be better since they are hopefully using HDMI)

2) If you are staying home and have 360 you're fine. Hook up your computer via an HDMI cable (if you have it). Otherwise, you should go DVI, S-Video or VGA.

3) If you don't have a 360 account, talk to a friend who has an account. You can use someone else's credentials, just don't share the same account with 50 people or anything. Charter doesn't carry it because that would make customers happy.

4) JustinTV sometimes has it, so this is another option; although there will be drop in quality.

NOTE: We had so many people faxing clemson about the game time; we ought to fax charter.

Well I've talked to Charter so many times about this I just put their number on speed dial. All they do is blame ESPN. Well one person told me they must be interested in getting it if ESPN is sending emails to them. She called it a survey. I didn't argue. Just chalked it up to Charter's normally crappy customer service.

Does anybody know if the Direct TV/AT&T package offers access to ESPN360 ? Also does anybody have that service and if so is it better than Charter??? Thanks.

Quick question for ya.....

How do you get to the place where you can sync it?

I have a family member that created an account b/c their ISP works, but I don't see where to sync it up, so I can tell them to do it.

it's not in the ESPN360 window that opens up, it's still in the main browser window.
