Do you think Chauncey Wiggins will end up better off?

I kind of feel as if it could not have gotten worse for Chauncey than how it was at the end of the season this year.
I’m definitely familiar with the feeling of your body locking up because of in game pressure, and just having hindered movement.
I don’t know what was causing it for Chauncey, but that sh** was obvious.
He would get the ball, not know what to do, maybe dribble around, pick his dribble up with no one to pass to, and then shoot and miss, or loses the ball.
That occurrence happened constantly.
I think if he gains sustained confidence, the ceiling is infinity for him and his body build. Looks like Kevin Durant.

His body type is the only similarity with Durant as Kevin was a star in college. Maybe different scenery will be good for him or an extra year to develop will help. My guess is he will benefit from the NIL and his play will be hot and cold.

That falls back on coaching and we have none . Wiggins will likely thrive at FSU with better coaching .

It makes me wonder why every coach at every school, even those with coaches most feel are great at development, have players who never seem to get better? Clemson under CBB, has had many players who developed, but like every other coach, also had players who never seem to get it.
Seems your LF helm is showing with your comments given the lack of reason.

The one play against McNeese when they threw the ball to him near midcourt and he just got stiff and let it clank off his hands and roll out of bounds said everything about his season. I've always been a fan and defended him, but it was time for him to go, no matter what he does in Tallahassee.

It will be interesting to see how he does. Brownell had a lot of faith in him and he showed great potential at times. You can’t teach height and his range shows a lot of upside.
As I said before, I wish him well, except against us.

He might have a few good games, but generally he will still suck overall.

Not quick enough the play 3, not physical enough to play 4

he's a role player as a shooter. To his credit he developed his low post offense more this season, but being a horrible rebounder, that just limits his effectiveness at 4

He'll get endless chances because of his size and athleticism.
I wish the best for him, but I think this inconsistent player is just who he is.

I don't know that he will get better skill wise. After 3 years at Clemson id say he has slowly regressed. The change will probably good for him.

He is who he is. Maybe better at FSU, but I have my doubts.
