Dabo/Clemson football has won 7 ACC championships, two
Sep 27, 2021, 3:27 PM

National Championships, played for two others, made six straight playoff appearances and won 120 plus games in the last ten/eleven years and now people are questioning Dabo and calling for a major overhaul of the program? I hate losing more than a lot of you but I'm not going to question a coach/man who has done so much for our program. This year was not what I expected or wanted but it is not over and I'm going to pull for Clemson no matter how this season goes.

Sorry my friend, but I've never spent a penny of my cash on anything but Orange, white, and some purple, I have a plenty of those colors. But I can tell you that I've lived through, and seen much worst seasons than we'll have this season. Let me add, my wife and I had appointments this past Sunday at the Charleston Hwy CVS here in cootlumbia to get get our covid booster shot at 11 am. I was dressed in my Tiger gear just like I was when we won our last 2 Natty's, and I wouldn't dress any other way.
I'll also admit that I do my share of crying and complaining when my Tigers aren't doing well, and I've had plenty of practice at that in the past. Clemson to me is like one of my family members, I can talk crap about them, but it pisses me off when somebody else does it!!! I try to remember that we're not going to win them all, and I have lived through the times where we would only win some of them, but these past 6-7 years have been incredibly awesome, Go Tigers!!!!

Does Dabo still prescribe to that and if the answer is yes, is this current iteration of team and coaches living up to that? If not shouldn't fans be able question why this is not being followed?

If you’re a fan of Clemson, no Coach, staff member, or player deserves your hate or negativity. If you hate on Clemson or the program, you’re not a fan. Criticism and hate are different, as criticism is more of an analysis than an attack.
People are verbally attacking TE and whoever else and it’s bull$h1t.

No.
It’s now “it could be worse so shut up and keep donating it’s all the players’ fault. The players we recruited and have been coaching up all this time aren’t executing so it’s all on them.”

I have no tolerance for people that don’t pay attention or don’t have a clue what they are talking about. At what point have Dabo and company not taken complete accountability for the chitshow thus far? When he and TE say we aren’t executing, followed by, “and that’s on me, that’s on us as coaches” what don’t people comprehend? Question all you want. Fair game, but acting surprised you don’t get the answers you want is just moronic. The staff deserve a hail of a lot more respect than this seemingly spineless fanbase is giving.
I bet every one of the people on here daily whining and crying about how David Hood doesn’t ask tough enough questions or TE isn’t a good OC when his resume speaks for itself, or that Dabo is too loyal or Spiller fractured the RB room are the kind of people that cry to their wife when they get a speeding ticket & lash out at McDonald’s when they get the order wrong. Look in the mirror, you’re the problem.

I agree. Or they think they never make a mistake at their job, but luckily when they do, 80,000 know it alls are not lined up to criticize or even know they make an error.
As fierce of a competitor as Coach Swinney is, does anyone really think he doesn’t know that things aren’t going well ?
IMO, 6 playoff runs, 6 ACC titles and 2 National Championships should buy at least a little leeway with the fans. Coot trolls please ignore.

People complaining about Dabo being “too loyal” is complete nonsense.
This is the same “too loyal” guys that has kept the best coaching staff together longer than anyone in a ridiculously competitive field. We’ve enjoyed a long stretch of great teams and our staff is what has brought the talent in and kept them around more than any other major program! You can’t whine about loyalty and also praise the loyalty in the same sentence. Dabo’s system of loyalty and accountability works... period. Give it some time and it will be fixed one way or another. Dabo knows this.

Ha Ha Ha, I do everything within my power to hide that I got a speeding from my wife. But, I have two of the best Escort radar detectors in our two vehicles, and once you learn how to use them, getting speeding tickets hardly ever happen. I have a heavy foot, and I can't drive without speeding, and I can't remember the last time I got a ticket, or the last time I had to hide one from my wife LOLOL

And Dabo had 2 pretty dang good seasons in 2019 and 2020 using what he had to overcome a suspect secondary and young D line in '19 and a drop off in OL and run game in '20. He only got caught because 2 experienced officers transferred to the areas he was driving in and both were given hopped up patrol cars (especially in 2019)!
Hopefully he just need a major tune up and not a new engine this season!

Certainly you can question. After the season. It is silly to be calling for heads 4 games into a 12 game season. No one-least of all the players and coaches-want what is happening currently but calling for heads at this point is just people looking for something to be unhappy about.

I truly appreciate what we’ve experienced. Most fan bases do not come close to experiencing what we have. I’m grateful to Dabo and everyone else who helped make what we have witnessed possible. Any so called fan who trashes Dabo and the program right now has the mentality of a spoiled child.

I still believe in Dabo and I think Tony Elliott knows a lot of about football offense. We are stuck in a rut right now and it is concerning that there hasnt been any progress. We should be able... even in an off year, to average in the 300s yards per game. They know the players better than we do... hopefully they will find something that utilizes the players where they are right now and gets something moving. Our defense.. even injured.. is really good. Just average 350yards /25 points a game and we will win out.

I am also very disappointed in the product on the field and completely agree with many here that changes are needed. With all that said, I believe in Dabo and have complete confidence in him.
Additionally, I think TE has had some really good years and believe he’s a good coach. I do think, however, the play calling and team prep, has been really poor this year on the offensive side of the ball. It might be time for TE to move on not bc he deserves to be fired, but more so that he’s become a bit stale in this situation and would do great in a new situation. I am not calling for his head though as it’s been four games with a young team. I actually would like an OL coaching change as we’ve been average at best there for a few years now.
Lastly, I believe we are missing a player leader on the O as well. The play on the field doesn’t give Bockhorst the credibility to be that.
In any case, I will still support our Tigers regardless and remain a huge Dabo fan for not only being the most successful coach in CU football history, but doing it with class. Go tigers!

The kid got moved to play center this year if I remember correctly. That's the toughest position on the O-line is it not. Doing a fair job from my armchair seat. Give him a "break".
