We’ve been a terrible 2nd half team:
UGA: 3-28
UL: 14-16
UofSC: 7-10
SMU: 10-24
We’ve been outscored 78-34 in the 2nd half against the 4 good teams we played this year, including 48-17 in Q4 alone.
Our 2nd half adjustments have been really bad. Hopefully this gets corrected today.

Dabo tries to hard to nurse the lead and protect the defense and tries to play field position in the second half instead of going for the jugular, this leads to alpt of 3 and outs. This is not a Riley thing bc Clemson has done this since Trevor's sophomore year, only difference is a BV defense was much more aggressive and forced turn overs and made big plays.

This isn’t Riley‘s offense. We get too conservative and put too much pressure on a defense that doesn’t have much depth.

It’s gone both ways too.
We only scored 10 points in the 2nd half against UGA and UL, even though we were losing.
When we’ve had 2nd half leads against UofSC, SMU, and even Pitt, we haven’t been able to put the game away. All 3 had to come down to the wire.
So when we’ve been down against good teams, we haven’t been able to make a 2nd half comeback. When we’ve had 2nd half leads against good teams, we haven’t been able to put them away.
Riley and Goodwin have their work cut out.

Offense needs to have better time of possession, no turnovers, and fewer 3 and outs. They need to help keep the defense fresh since we can't really count on our depth to do that.
We also need to be better in the Red Zone than we have been all season. Let's get TDs instead of blocked FGs...

Don’t think we will have a running game. Unless our offensive line plays out of their minds.
Think this game is squarely on the shoulders of Cade, Wesco, Moore and Antonio.

Lack of adjustments is part of it. I would argue that lack of talented depth is the main reason. Roster management is now being addressed, but a few years late. Just happy it has finally happened.
One of the reasons why I picked Texas to beat us two weeks ago is because I’ve seen them play live twice in the past two years. Their roster is much like Georgias . Talent from top to bottom; we have very good players in certain spots, but after that, the fall off is pretty big imho.
We can win today, but we have to be very clean and score points when the getting is good.

Not sure it’s a talent problem. Think it’s almost exclusively coaching. Poor adjustments in game and poor player development.
