Being as my son is coming with me, I will be purchasing some goods.
I am an old tried and true Knickerbocker guy, but with it gone, what say ye?
Most recently I have had the most luck at Tiger Sports Shop
This pic makes me laugh as the two uglies on the left know they have no shot when these three are around.

there's still time for one last visit.
CLEMSON, S.C. (WSPA) – After more than 50 years in business, Mr. Knickerbocker, a retail outlet catering to supporters of Clemson University, will close its final physical location next month.
The retailer announced the closure in a press release on its website and on social media. Shoppers can visit the retail location in downtown Clemson through Tuesday, December 31.
“For over 50 years, Mr. Knickerbocker has been proud to serve the Clemson Family. It has been one of the greatest thrills of our lives to be part of your traditions, celebrations, and memories,” read the release.
While the chain closes its physical doors, another one will soon open for the Tigers faithful.
Mr. Knickerbocker will move to an online storefront, with subscription products, collaborations and other offerings.
The retailer will also have a pop-up shop outside The Abernathy hotel for the the next two home games and on select baseball weekends.
As Mr. Knickerbocker winds down its physical location, it is offering discounts of up to 75% on many items.

Tiger Sports Shop has good selection and prices seem reasonable. We order online and go by the one on 123 when in town. Never had a bad experience there or any issues with returns.
OTOH, had the worst customer experience of my life at Knickerbockers. Absolutely terrible and completely unapologetic about it.

Lousy service.

Mostly because they use forced child labor in destitute third-world countries while paying them nothing, keeping them in tiny cages for their 2-hour daily rest periods, and feeding them a small bowl of thin, watery gruel once a day. It appeals directly to the warlord in me, and makes me hunger for a time when I'll be proud to say that this is how we handle business in the United States of America once again.

Steve Poteet at MH Frank has been VERY good to my family over the years. I also always liked Coach Ibrahim as well. He and Mac McElmurray were good friends when Mac owned Sloan's in the 80s and I worked for him. I had a lot of respect for Coach...he always tried to help Mac out since they didn't compete on the same product lines.

Have known Steve since the mid-80’s when I was but a wee lad of 12 or so. Great dude, and every time you see him it’s like you never stopped talking to the guy regularly and he remembers my kids names, everything. Just a shining example of a small biz owner who fully GAS about his customers.
