Anyone tried that Four Loko drink yet?

I've had quite a few blackouts that are fueled by Red Bull/Vodka, so I feel like I need to try something called "Blackout in a Can". CS02, don't get any ideas...

The 411 on Four Loko
You may have heard the buzz surrounding Four Loko and similar alcoholic caffeinated beverages. If not, here's a rundown to get you caught up. CNN, MCT, REDEYE
Why is it called Four Loko? The name "Four" is derived from the major ingredients: caffeine, taurine, guarana and alcohol, according to Phusion Projects, Four Loko's maker.
I heard there was a Chicago connection. There is. Phusion Projects LLC is a Chicago company started five years ago by three Ohio State University graduates who said they got the idea from watching people mix liquor with energy drinks at bars.
Why are caffeinated alcohol drinks controversial now? The drinks became controversial after two colleges banned Four Loko, a caffeinated alcohol beverage, after students became ill.
Do the stimulant (caffeine) and the depresssant (alcohol) cancel each other out? Not exactly. "Caffeine seems to partially cancel out the feeling of being drunk, not the actual impairment," said Dr. David Weldy, assistant professor of family medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine, who has written about underage drinkers and caffeinated alcoholic products.
How much alcohol does Four Loko contain? A 23.5-ounce can of Four Loko contains either 6 or 12 percent alcohol by volume, depending on state regulations.
Hasn't there been controversy like this before?Yep. In 2007, Anheuser-Busch pulled its 12-percent alcohol beverage called Spykes (a neon mix inside a bottle that looked like nail polish) after an outcry by alcohol watchdog organizations and politicians. In 2008, the Center for Science in the Public Interest sued MillerCoors Brewing Company over its alcoholic energy drink, Sparks.
High profile A roundup of recent events that have propelled Four Loko to the public's attention. MCT,
College students Nine students were hospitalized last month at an off-campus party near Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash., after consuming Four Loco and other alcoholic beverages.
Teen sales In October, the Virginia liquor board suspended the beer and wine license of a Virginia Beach convenience store and fined it for selling three cans of Four Loko to a 16-year-boy last March. Less than three hours after the purchase, the boy was driving when his car crashed in Virginia Beach, killing a 16-year-old passenger. Testimony at the hearing showed that the boys also had consumed shots of whiskey before the Four Loko.
Fatal crash In August, a former York, Penn., man and his three sons died when their car was struck by a 20-year-old man who police said had consumed four cans of Four Loko and had smoked marijuana.
Forced drinking The drink's growing popularity took on an even darker overtone last month in New York, when one of three men abducted and tortured by gang members in the South Bronx said he was forced by his abductors to consume 10 cans of Four Loko.
Social media buzz We asked our Twitter followers and Facebook fans this question: What's your take on the government regulating caffeinated alcoholic drinks? Here are some of the responses. Follow us at twitter.com/redeyechicago and facebook.com/TheRedEye. COMPILED BY SCOTT KLEINBERG.
TWITTER @justinntyne: NOOOO.
@CourtneyPitts: Drinks like Four Loko have caused hospitalizations at UNL. As an RA in a res hall, I am pro regulation. Regulation=safety.
@brandi_w60: Caff should not b allowed in alcohol drinks, it causes 2 many health risks. Don't need 2 feel like I'm having a heart attack!
@acpiller: Caffeine + alcohol = 'roid-like rage a-plenty. See Wrigleyville...
@jeibey: They've already regulated alcoholic drinks. Now caffeinated alcoholic drinks? What about freedom of drink, people!
@marsacademy: While I wish we could regulate away stupidity, we can't. And warnings are ignored.
FACEBOOK Mary Higbe Cunningham: The government needs to spend less time regulating things.
Mary Ann O'Rourke: What's next? Caffeine. Don't take away my Starbucks.
La Ree: I love FOUR!
Sharon Pearson: I have a right to my caffeinated alcoholic drinks! "Big Gov't" needs to back off on this one. Any more regulation will turn the US into a police state.
Anthony Ramirez: There's a market for it so someone is gonna come along and take Four Lokos place. The same way they filled the void Sparks left. If there's a market and money to be made someone else will make it.
Michael Andrews: Really Government? Sugared alcoholic drinks? Really? Get it together and focus on what Really matters.

But really just as a chaser for two spoonfuls of pure caffeine powder. It would be wild.

Then say, on no you will have to come back to so and so to drink it. Go to so and so, and drink it all before anybody shows up. Use real booze to get her drunk.
