Five-star 2020 Washington, D.C. linebacker
Mekhail Sherman listed Clemson among his top schools this week.
Sherman, who received a Clemson offer in May, has the Tigers in a group with Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Penn State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan and South Carolina. The Maxpreps sophomore All-American noted it's still early in the process for him but that those were the schools that have stood out up to this point. He tallied 51 tackles, 18 for loss, with seven sacks, two pass breakups and an interception last season. Sherman is rated as high as the No. 8 player in the nation and the No. 2 outside linebacker. Clemson also has an offer out to St. John's (D.C.) teammate and 4-star 2020 cornerback Luke Hill, who visited during Clemson camp in June.
