I'm one of Frank Howard's Boy Scouts who used to get into the games for a dime (in uniform). My father was a charter member of IPTAY and we spent many pleasant autumn afternoons under the sun-splashed skies of Death Valley. My handle represents the memory of an excited little boy standing on the bank waiting for the Tigers to run down the hill to the stirring sounds of "Tiger Rag". Strangely enough, one of my most treasured memories was of meeting and talking to an opponent...Brian Piccolo of Wake Forest. He was a hoot and very nice to the kids gathered around the bottom of the hill during warm-ups. He was quite a clown, and quite a player...just one of many memories of the Valley.
