I have been a fan as long as I can remember. My father (Tom Smith, baseball) went to Clemson College in the 50s. I have been attending football games since the days of Coach Howard & Buddy Gore. My grandfather (Winchester Smith), who also attended Clemson, was a life-time board member and had a dorm named after him (Smith Hall). Family trivia: My grandfather had my great uncle (RADM. Norman M. Smith, USN retired) appointed as president of University of South Carolina.
