Auburn DE leaves team before opener vs. Clemson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Auburn junior defensive end Raashed Kennion has left the team announced on Saturday morning by Auburn coach Guz Malzahn.

'We wish him the best," Malzhahn said to reporters on Saturday.

Kennion has political aspirations that he would like to pursue according to multiple reports.

The 6-foot-6 defensive end had eight tackles including one tackle for loss and three quarterback hurries in a reserve role last season. He started two games last season and was counted on for important rotational depth at defensive line.
