WATCH: CBSSN makes Fiesta Bowl Playoff semifinal predictions

CBS Sports Network's college football preview show made its Fiesta Bowl predictions for Clemson and Ohio State on Dec. 28 in Glendale, Arizona.

Former UCLA and Washington coach Rick Neuheisel sees Ohio State dual-threat QB Justin Fields as a key to his pick.

"The difference is the legs of the quarterback for Ohio State," Neuheisel said. "Justin Fields can save the day with his legs. We saw him go into the injury tent, come out, run to his left and throw a touchdown pass. I'm on Ohio State."

Former Notre Dame lineman Aaron Taylor, he of the infamous "lugubrious" comment, is on the Clemson bandwagon.

"This could have easily been the national championship game," Aaron Taylor said. "At the end of the day, I think people have slept on Clemson. I'm drinking the orange and purple kool-aid. We've seen Ohio State falter (against Wisconsin) -- and to their credit come back against a pretty salty Wisconsin front. Something tells me that Dabo is going to have his boys ready to get it done."

Former UCLA lineman Randy Cross went a step further with his pick.

"I think it's (Clemson) by a touchdown or so. They're on their way to 30-0," Cross said.
