Slavery is so bad. You'd think decent people would put an end to it. One of these centuries.

It has TF to do with any warning message at the beginning of GWTW, as the post I replied to referenced. So not you personally.
But think that if you told folks in the 1860s that 160 years later idle grifters would be tearing down statues and demanding people that have never owned slaves give their wealth to people that haven't been slaves a day in their lives - that the decent folks would have still fought to end slavery.

Ok, I'll play along since this isn't one of your point party threads:
Do you have owensb01 on ignore? Or can you see this statement that I was replying to? "They preach to you before the movie about how inappropriate it is and how white folk should be embarrassed that this movie became popular."

Quick posts can confuse as to ??
Point party threads are seen as fun for most here. In no way have I posted those to offend you.
I Use all the great features on Tnet that we pay for, do put those on ignore who are "hit and run" with no explanation. A 1000 TDs will have no effect on me, but I like debate and working "it out".
I am a "RedNeck Son of the South" - all know that.

One of my favorite memories from Clemson games when I was growing up was Tiger Band playing Tiger Rag and then the drum line kicking into an introduction of Dixie and then the brass starting the song. I get why we stopped hearing Dixie at games but back in the day, Tiger Rag and Dixie back to back was awesome.

Don’t know if I would go back or not, but I can’t remember how many times we crossed the street between The Red Carpet and The Study Hall.

Makes me think of Clemson now.
“Clemson’s got a facelift, I guess she’s lookin better. But I kinda liked the old one. I never will forget her…” 🎶
And every time I’m there now, I say “where the hellll am I….”

I know. And I realize it’s still mostly the same.
Clemson House being gone, and the business school being on that hill just makes me cringe every time I go by. And the high rise crap downtown.

When I was there '62-'66 WSBF played a version of DIXIE that was fantastic. Played it at sign off every night. Been looking for a copy of that for years but never found it.
