National media analysts are all over the place in their rankings after week 8 action.
ESPN commentator Kirk Herbstreit released his Top 6 rankings recently and had Ohio State on top, followed by LSU, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Penn State. It's an interesting top six with obviously Ohio State being No. 1 is a little wild to say the least. In a few weeks, there should be more clarity as more teams lose and lay an egg against an inferior opponent or two. Other media analysts Top rankings: Joey Galloway had a top-five of Clemson, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. Jesse Palmer with his top-five of LSU, Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Clemson. Danny Kannell had a top-five of Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, and LSU.
