ESPN analyst projects Justyn Ross as breakout player in CFB |
Booger knows 'WRU' talent.
ESPN analyst Booger McFarland thinks that Clemson receiver Justyn Ross will be a breakout star for the upcoming college football season. "I'm going Justyn Ross the receiver from Clemson," McFarland said on ESPN's First Take recently. "We think that Trevor Lawrence will be the favorite to win the Heisman and Tua Tagovailoa. Trevor Lawrence has to throw the ball somewhere. What about Justyn Ross? A do-it-all receiver from Alabama. To me, there is some irony there how he performed against Alabama. His ability to catch the football and get down the field will make him a darkhorse candidate. He will put up a lot of yards and a lot of numbers in that Dabo Swinney offense." In 2018, Ross had 46 receptions for 1000 yards and nine touchdowns.
