Clemson receiver suffers leg injury Monday |

Amari Rodgers was carried off the field with a leg injury during Monday's practice, and there are concerns that it is some type of ACL injury.
TigerNet has learned that the team is awaiting the results of an MRI, and a source close to the situation declined to comment on Monday night and said he would defer all comments to head coach Dabo Swinney. Update: The MRI confirmed a torn ACL injury Rodgers was an honorable mention All-ACC performer as an all-purpose selection, an All-ACC Academic selection and ranked second on the team in receptions with 55, tallying 575 yards and four touchdowns in 565 snaps in 15 games (all starts). He had touchdown receptions of 58 and 68 yards against the Seminoles and became the first Clemson player to catch two touchdowns of 50-plus yards in a single game since Artavis Scott against South Carolina in 2014, becoming the first Clemson player since 1950 to accomplish the feat on the road. Swinney told the media Monday night that the three freshman receivers - Joseph Ngata, Frank Ladson, and Brannon Spector are all making an early impression. *He is just big and strong and plays fast," Swinney said of Ngata.
