Year long plan

While yesterday was tough to watch, as others have pointed out, we continually struggle around the 4-6 game a year. I think this is due to how Dabo plans a season out.
In these first few games we have one we can't mess around with (A&M) but the rest are generally trying different offensive styles out to see what works for the rest of the year.
So yes we probably were sticking to some things longer than normal its because the plan is to work on them.
Secondly, when you think about training, the middle of the year is also likely when we are doing our hardest workouts to get prepped for the end of the year. We will start to back off these intense workouts the end of the year. This is why we seem sharper, stronger and faster for playoff season
Lastly, dabo loves to have a tight game to test his players fortitude.
So i am not concerned about the prep or process. Things will begin to fall into place here after the bye week and start the run to championship season.

Since 2015, we've sucked going into BYE weeks:

2015: W 20-17 @ Louisville 2016: W vs NCST 24-17 (OT) 2017: L @ Cuse 27-24 2018: W @ WF 63-3 2019: W @ UNC 21-20
With the exception of last season, it just looks like we take a deep breath and relax one day too soon heading into BYEs.
