Good grief why do so many people think if Miami plays more games than us

and has a higher winning percentage, that they would get in the ACCCG ahead of us?

Where did y’all get that?

In the event we play one less game than them and that gives them the advantage of a higher winning percentage, it would not matter. We beat them and own the tiebreaker. Even if we didn’t play them we would still get in over them as we would own another tiebreaker, being ranked higher. So we are good as long as we don’t lose.

Well, that is standard practice

In most years, people's thinking would be correct.

However this year there is a specific provision in place to combat that happening:

"Furthermore, in the event there is an unequal total number of conference games
played among teams tied in the loss column, head-to-head results will take precedence
over win-percentage."
