also a note to dabo. being loyal to these kids with roster spots over guys you could pick up in the portal that may be better doesnt make them respect you more.


The Clemson Insider spoke with Stellato after the announcement regarding his decision to move on.

“Didn’t envision myself growing as a player here,” Stellato said. “Felt disrespected at times and still have no clue how I was demoted after the UVA game. Finally started getting in a rhythm. There was way more out there for me and I wasn’t getting the opportunity.”

Theres an old football saying that goes "You can't make the club in the tub". If you have to hit the showers after every hangnail then of course you're going to eventually be "demoted". Stellato has been on the injured list more than he's been healthy here. Maybe he'll be better off elsewhere at this point. Non-issue with him leaving if you ask me. He's been unavailable about 70% (it at least feels this way) of his time here.

I will say this, while the sample size is small, there is a hint of some possible dissension among the ranks. These comments are eerily similar to what we heard from Mukuba when he left.

Go look at comments from Ole Miss Arkansas Oklahoma State Texas A@M players that will transfer this offseason. If each has 10 to portal out, you’ll find 1 or 2 who will make comments exactly like what this guy made. Everyone feels disrespected, offended, or hurt when they are told the other guy is better.

It’s why you just laugh when a 21 year old man utters the word disrespected or offended in relation to playing time. Grow the #### up and play better or in his case, just play

Breaking news. Shortly after his comment earlier today Troy Stelatto slipped coming out of the shower and tweaked his pinky. He's listed as day to day.
