WWYD Jounge? Scenario goes like this...

Oldest dog has a vet appointment this Friday. He has a fluid filled sack on his side that has to get drained every 6 months or so, needs it again. I notice something on his ear, a similar fluid pocket, a week ago, maybe less. I know he is headed to vet this Friday so I let it ride until then. Did some online research, most everything points to him wagging head and bruising ear, fluid collects, needs draining. Maybe we get a 2 for 1 draining.
Puppy has red eye, seems a little droopy, a little watery, nothing major. Wife and son freak out about it, but Greenr says probably just hit it fighting with other dogs. Wife bertstares at me because I am not also super concerned.
THEN wife notices the lump on old dogs ear yesterday. Asks youngest, he is all like yeah, when I pet him, I feel it. Asks me, yeah, noticed it a couple days ago. Bertstare even harder. Fusses at me because it could be a major problem but I was all "I assumed you had noticed it and he is already going to vet on Friday." This was a bad take apparently.
Wife calls today around lunch, needs me to bring her the dogs at 3:30 because moved vet appointment up. Nope, in a meeting at that time. She has to come home, get dogs, go back, get son, then go to vet.
Just texted me they drained ear, no real problems and puppy might have had allergies, possibly swallowed a bee (weird).
So do I say toldya so when she comes home? Or feign concern? Thanks and prayers for my wallet because I am sure there is an upcharge for working them in that they don't tell you about until bill time.

"thanks for taking care of that, I'm glad it seems like a non-issue." Then come back here for acknowledgement that you're right.

“Thanks for handling this.”
Then come up with something fun to fill the time that has opened up on Friday.
Like driving for Uber to pay the vet bill.

Plus side? Sounds like you now know your way around dog fluid-filled ear sacks.***

Ask if she remembered to get the vet to check your dogs #### glands to see if they needed draining.

There is a movie called "Ole Yeller" that covers this exact scenario.***

about something. Think of this as self preservation. The little bit of satisfaction you might get out of saying it, will never come close to covering the amount of pain you will experience from it going forward. You have been warned.

Did all this moving around cost extra money?

If so, just be mad that they didn't listen to you and wait a few more days. If not, just file this away for the next time and remind her that she inconvenienced herself (while trying to inconvenience you but failing) and she should just listen.
