Would anyone else support a flat fee permanent donor level?

I have been on this site since the very beginning, and have donated some years and not donated others.

I have suggested this before, but would anyone else be inclined to buy a one-time, lifelong membership for maybe 10x the base level ,or 5x the purple level?

Sure. However, most places that offer a lifetime membership quickly realize their mistake and either rescind it or change the rules to negate it.

Even software or automobile features you thought you could "buy," and use, now only come via a subscription model. The spice must flow.

I have been a constant donor for 17 straight years never missing a year, and I'm Ok with that. It takes a constant flow of funds to keep this site as the best site in the country for Clemson Tiger news from the front to the back door, and that's why I don't mind paying for a yearly donor membership...
