Fair to ask, since stupid moves seem to be the modus operandi of the ACC.

That was not the question but allow me to respond.

I am not sure your scenario enhances FSU's playoff chances anytime soon. Perhaps if all the ACC teams opted to move, leaving FSU as the only team in the league, they could qualify for the automatic bid.

Since both programs are degenerating right before our eyes into mediocrity, maybe FSU and UGA could form their own league seek to get an automatic bid for the winner?

Who screwed up football to the point where FSU going to the playoffs as the PAC-8 champ and Stanford finishing in the bottom of the ACC is a remote possibility?

No, ACC logic would be to add another NC school. So App St or East Carolina will make them all warm and fuzzy.
