I say the home field advantage gives us the edge. There’s no denying moUSC is playing good football lately, but the “chicken curse” will kick in to destroy their season. My wife and I always watch the game with a bunch of coots, so I’m depending on the Tigers to win convincingly.

It helps that we win most of the time. The 5 year losing streak was very tough, but I took solace when they started talking about never losing to us again. I remind them of that regularly.

That game feels like more of a toss up than usual. If we don't shoot ourselves in the foot I feel good about a win. Too inconsistent on offense and defense to feel very confident.

I use to watch the rivalry game with in-laws but they got so bad during the five year streak I had to quit. My in-laws are the type that don’t really know football or even their team they just want to pick on me for liking Clemson. These fans don’t even know their history or the name of their quarterback or offensive coordinator. I had to quit watching with family so we could still be family.

I briefly tuned into the cootgame vs. Mizzou and frankly, they don't impress me on offense.
If Goodwin pulls his head out of his ###, we should win this handily.

We have to get healthy! Definitely going to need Wade and Peter healthy! Hopefully Tyler Brown will be able to go. Main concern now is oline. Need to get Leigh and Tate back.

My wife graduated from South Carolina, but that’s just because we couldn’t afford a “real” school. She has been a Clemson fan since I went to Clemson in the early 80s.

Home field helps. I think it will matter a bunch, especially early. But if they’re healthy when they play us, I honestly think they’re two score favorites. They seem to be growing each week (especially on offense) and peaking at the right time. I don’t feel that Clemson is doing the same thing right now, but we are finding ways to win tight games — that’s always helpful.

I like our chances.
- We're at home and typically play better (minus Louisville game).
- We have a puncher's chance at sneaking into the CFP so the motivation will be there.
- With Citadel rolling in we can hopefully put the game outta reach early and rest our starters in the second half.
That said, I can say too that this is probably the better Gamecock team to roll up in some time.
- They've got a mobile QB that is a gamer.
- They've played well as of late no denying that.
- Their defense will likely be the best we've faced since UGA.
Overall, I'm saying we get the W until otherwise proven. I think we win a slobber knocker like today...24-20 or 30-27 kind of game.

South Carolina is the best team we have played since the opener versus UGA. We couldn't run tbe ball at all against Pitt. It feels like a game that must be our defenses best game of the year. If USUCK scores 21 I'm afraid we are toast.

Occasionally watch that game with my coot family, but not often. Clemson has pretty much won every time we watch together. Lots of clucking of late, though! It’s the same every time. When coots think they have a good team, They start clucking, I'm quiet, and we usually win

Their defense is about all they have going. Defenses in the SEC look like the Big 12 this season. Scar has one of the better ones and we can handle them in all our 3 deep are healthy.

could lose miserably. Momentum swings in that game seem to mean more than any other one. One thing I will say, this Coot team is different than past ones, in that they do not throw in the towel when they get down in the score. Any other Coot team would have given up when Mizzou scored that late TD to take the lead yesterday. But, this bunch of chickens just buckled down, marched down the field, and took the game back. They will not be an easy out. But, Clemson is certainly more than capable of winning that game.

I had a drunk coot call me after the game crowing about the win vs Mizzo. I thought to myself, you were ranked above them so you should have won?? Coot logic. We definitely better bring our A game. They are confident and very senior heavy. Lose their entire D next year
