People gave Coach Brownell such a hard time for so long that J Keller became resentful. Now he takes it out and Dabo and those who like Dabo. J Keller would like nothing more than to see Dabo crash and burn.

I think CBB has turned the corner and will be pretty solid for now on, like going to the tournament 5 out of the next 7 years.

I think CBB has turned the corner and will be pretty solid for now on, like going to the tournament 5 out of the next 7 years.
CBB has not turned the corner as he has been a very good coach for a long time. Our AD turned the corner by providing the resources needed to be successful at Clemson

I think part of it is that it seems to me that many on this board are very very critical of Wes, Riley and many other coaches. Also see a lot of negativity on Cade which is perplexing. And it seems some of these critics give Dabo a total pass, like it’s always someone else’s fault. He is the biggest factor in the decline (tho still good) over the last 4 years. His stance on NIL and Portal and HIS coaching hires. I like Dabo and would send my kid to him in second. But he has flaws like all of us and would like to see Clemson remain elite.

Honestly I think he’s one of the better posters on this site.
Very knowledgeable about the basketball program and everything I’ve seen him say about football seems like a legitimate opinion.
If you think Dabo hasn’t caused the program to regress because of his lack of portal use you are extremely delusional.
FOUR D1 teams this season had a roster without a single portal player on it, three of them were service academies. I’ll give you one guess who the other was.

We’re 8 days away from playing Texas in the playoffs. If we get blown away then he and people of his ilk can have at it.
Something tells me he wasn’t like this last year after BC blew us out in the ACC tournament and 14 years of failure.
My point is at least let the seasons finish before nonstop criticism.

I don’t think a win over Texas would mean that Dabo is excused from not utilizing the portal. He can run his program how he wants and I will always be a fan no matter what, but there’s no doubt it is handicapping us.

If we beat TX then we’ll be facing AZ State; we have a better chance to beat AZ State than TX.
If we beat TX (which is the premise for your argument) and then beat AZ State, then we’ll be in the final four.

We made the playoffs with no transfers so I haven’t seen that little stat recentlylol but I’m not goin to sit here and tell you we don’t need the portal bc we def do need to hit it this year and get some good new talent in the fold at certain positions. Also that little 4 fbs teams is misleading bc the service academy’s don’t take transfers. We are the only team that takes transfers that hasn’t taken any yet. Which I agree needs to change but I don’t think we have fallen behind as much as some ppl think is just my point on that. Go Tigers!!!

He thinks that Dabo should be the Champion game every year due to making 11 mil . He is blind to the fact that Dabo is doing more with less at a smaller school in a small town than most P5 coaches .

This post is EXACTLY why JK trolls. He has been saying this same exact statement in defense of Brownell for years and years while everyone on Tnet blasted him.
And now these same statements are being made in defense of Dabo?!?!?...the irony is striking and I don't blame him one bit for reveling in it.
