Yes we are right here battling UNC and BC for the worst team in the ACC . Scary part is both will be more physical than us on the LoS and we may even lose to one or both of them . It is very possible that Furman is our only win left .

And Cade is getting a typical pocket in which QBs are expected to perform. He has been absolutely horrendous in the pocket. Looks like a first year player.
The running game is doing well, and Cade has numerous open alternatives on nearly every pass play.
This is not on the OL.
The defense played so so and definitely well enough to win the first 3 games. We went 1-2 because of the QB. In game 4, you’re right. The DL was getting pushed around certainly in the first half and pretty much didn’t look like they wanted to be there. To your point, the DL is not getting it done. The talent is there - something is amiss with Eason and Rumph. Players are not responding to coaching and it’s a major concern.
But even when they were getting pushed around vs Syracuse, Cade missed a ton of opportunities early and late that could have flipped the game. You could literally see it dragging the entire team down.

It’s the same coaches and psychologist we had last year when Cade was top 15 in QBR and finished the season as a Heisman front runner.
Nothing has changed, except the QB has lost his head. If the team psychologist can’t help him, what else do you suggest?
My thinking is Cade gets one or two series at UNC. If after two weeks he hasn’t gotten out of his mental funk, then it’s time to sit.

There is no more important position on the field and it’s not even close. Each and every team looking good today show a QB getting the job done.

Almost every game I watch, I’m saying to myself “we would be dangerous with that QB”. What’s sad is next week we’ll go beat up on unc and CDS will say, “see, I told you so about CK”. Complete & utter false validation. The we’ll probably go to Boston and get beat.
