Because FL is a 3 seed, not the 2 seed. We were going to be screwed either way. It was either Vandy, SC, or LSU in ours

You can’t have 2 teams from the same conference in the same regional. Because of our geographical location, the strength of the ACC and the SEC, and the fact that no ACC can be in our regional we are almost guaranteed an SEC team in a regional we host. Only way around it is if someone like Coastal, CofC or USCUpstate plays their way into a #2 seed.
If we go to the Big 10 we will probably host an ACC team and an SEC team.

We could have had UF and 2 seed Nebraska or UNCW but UF and Vandy weren’t an either/or as a 2 seed
