So I see a lot of people hoping and speculating that Wes’s days as a Tiger are numbered, so my question is who would or do we go after as a replacement if that happens?

I am neither condemning him or giving him a vote of confidence. Just trying to figure out what our options would be.

In doing quick research of stats it looks like most of the better defenses are from larger programs, so why would they leave their current position? Then I see teams like Army and Bowling Green, but who do they really play?

Do we look at someone who has never been a coordinator, but is up and coming?

It’s not our job to know that answer. No one here guessed Venables. Nor Dabo for that matter.
Let’s all stop acting like we have the knowledge or of skill sets to know everyone in the football industry’s qualifications. We don’t. And that’s why Dabo gets paid the bucks. To know and to make the tough decisions.

all the Negative Nancy Tnet coaches wanting Wes fired along with Kyle, Tyler, etc and give their "expert" opinions and reasons why, but seem to have no answers about how to fix it or who would be a better replacement.

The opposing teams running game numbers answers that question. He has had 11 games to fix the running games problem and in the 11th game, they run all over us. No improvement whatsoever.

The DC at Tulane is pretty solid.
Greg Gasparto.
He’s got a pretty solid track record and his defenses have always charted high.
